Zachary Crockett is founder & CTO of Particle, a full-stack IoT device platform, where he is responsible for the core technology, architecture and infrastructure. He provides strategic direction for developing a scalable, reliable, secure and easy-to-use platform. Prior to founding Particle in 2012, he was CTO of a residential energy compliance company and developed web applications for startups, nonprofits, and universities. He holds a PhD in Music Composition and Computer Science from the University of Minnesota as well as degrees from John Hopkins and Vanderbilt.
