Shipping Costs From the Particle Retail Store Are Now Lower Than Ever

Thanks to the tireless work of our Operations Team, we’ve been able to negotiate a better pricing structure for all of our shipping destinations whether you’re located in the US or anywhere else in the world.

That’s right, whether you live in a remote town in the Yukon, or a bustling metropolis like Shenzhen, the price it costs you to get your Particle packages is now less than ever before. Here’s the breakdown.

Domestic shipping

All domestic shipping, that’s anyone in the lower 48 States, now uses a flat-rate price structure. You can see the price breakdown and the shipping time in the forum thread.

These new rates are on average a 60% price reduction from last year’s typical shipping cost. That means you’ll have extra cash in the bank or more to use on even more Particle goodies.

International Shipping

For all our international customers, and our friends in Alaska and Hawaii, there’s new pricing for you too.

Initially our goal was to offer international flat-rate shipping options; however, after careful calculation and who knows how many elaborate spreadsheets, our Ops Team determined that a flat-rate pricing structure would not actually save you money. And since saving you money is the entire goal of our new pricing, the team negotiated new rates that should give you savings of up to 30%.

This price reduction will happen automatically in our store, so there’s nothing you need to do. However, if you see the same prices as before, make sure you refresh your browser or maybe clear cookies.

As with all our updates, if you have lingering questions, don’t hesitate to ask. There’s already a forum thread about these updates, but we’re so excited to make sure you know about the new rates, we decided to blog about them too.
